Enforced BRD

Can we talk about renaming Wikipedia:Enforced BRD?

Actual BRD looks like this:

You found a dispute that's stuck, and you made (you think) a clever edit that (you hope) might resolve the dispute.
You wait to see if anyone reverts you.
If they do, then you talk specifically to that one person, to see why that person objected enough to revert you, and to see if the two of you can reach a compromise.

Awilley has written User:Awilley/Enforced BRD FAQ and User:Awilley/Consensus Required vs Enforced BRD. The process for these is:

Somebody reverted something.
If you want to revert them back, you have to (a) post a note on the talk page and (b) wait 24 hours. Then you can re-revert them.

These are not the same thing at all. Could we maybe give it another name, like "24 hours' notice required"? WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:56, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
