Please update "When the slave girl arrived, Ali beat her severely and said, "Mind you tell the apostle the truth."[79] But her answer was that she knew only good things about Aisha, with the single exception that when Aisha was entrusted with watching over a dough, she dozed off and allowed a sheep to eat it."" as it is not globally accepted. There is no early historical reports of this happening. If not removing it entirely, "beat" can be updated to "disciplined" as beating gives a negative image for Ali Saeedjassani (talk) 09:18, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As of sahih bukhari 476 , she did not reach the age of intelligence until her parents became muslims , as of sahih bukhari 3905 , she mentions the same sentence and she is descriping the time of it as the prophet visiting her father (not married yet) and that was at the time of the first immigration of habashah (613) so if i would consider the age of intelligence as 5-7 years then she is at the very minimum born at 608 and other narration is that her sister asmaa (born in 595) was 10 years older , i prefer sticking to the first argument since the narration is from the same boom you used to indicate her age (sahih bukhari) therefore it means that they either counted ages before puberty or they did not have a calendar to make sure what was their birthyear, as of now since we waived the confusion away and we have a reiable source that would indicate a more logical age for her i am kindly asking to edit her birthyear between 608 to 606 , because she can never be born at 614 as she was already engaged before the prophet muhammed, the strongest opinion is she was born 608-606 so i’m kindly asking for an edit. All this has been discussed many, many, many times before on Wikipedia. Wikipedia must obey the policy Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and this article tries to do so. In addition, the is also a policy on the user of primary sources - see WP:PRIMARY – it says that a "primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialised knowledge." The policy also says: "Any interpretation of primary source material requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation."-- Toddy1(talk)19:30, 28 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
